PSYCHE & SOMA was a multidisciplinary exhibition that took place in Seattle on August 12th, 2017.
These assemblage sculptures were designed by Jeremias Lentini for the purpose of the show.
All the objects included in the portraits were found on the streets, in thrift stores and on homeless camps of Seattle. The meaning and history of these objects served as inspiration for the creation of the art. Jeremias selected and classified every object carefully depending on their material, color, shape and function. He also used photo references to portrait specific people and bring the pieces to life.
Every sculpture is carefully designed to react to black lighting, revealing a hidden reality that is not perceived under natural light.
